The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced Competency-Focused Education and Assessment in its affiliated schools, unveiling practice papers for Classes 10 and 12 across major subjects. These practice papers aim to assist students in tackling higher-order thinking questions and enhancing their grasp of fundamental concepts.

CBSE has observed that some private publishers' websites are falsely promoting CBSE practice papers, prompting the board to issue a cautionary statement. The public is urged not to be deceived by such claims and promotions. CBSE emphasizes that students can access these sample papers for free on the official CBSE website, cbseacademic.nic.in.

Additionally, CBSE has released guidelines for students, principals, and parents regarding the submission of Class 10 and Class 12 registration forms for the 2024 board exams. Schools and principals must ensure that students meet the eligibility criteria for admission to Classes 9 and 11 and are scheduled to take the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams in the following year, by the exam regulations.
