Subodh was established in 1985 as boys' school for classes VI onwards. In 1992-93 the primary classes were included and in 1995-96 it became a co-educational school. The play group was merged with main school in 2013-14. Today Subodh has on its roll more than 4000 students and 225 staff members. Subodh was founded under the aegis of Shri S.S. Jain Subodh Shiksha Samiti a 95 year old institution, established in 1918 with the focus of educating girl child. Today the Samiti has to its credit 19 institutions with strength of 30,000 students and 1200 staff members. Subodh has been one of the prized academic achievements of the Samiti and has been contributing utmost to the cause of education and welfare of society. Today, the school offers a broad and balanced education pattern from play group to class 12. The students are made to develop incredible commitment to formal and informal learning. Here, they are made to face the challenges of the 21st century.
